		Duct Blaster Leakage Test for HVAC Energy Loss

			Duct Leakage is common in 95% of most homes in the US in crawlspaces, Attic areas, in-between floors and basements. It can cause 2nd floor areas to be hot in summer and cold in winter with less airflow though the entire system. With leaky ductwork, you are actually heating your crawlspace and attic areas during the winter and cooling them during the winter. With targeted duct leakage testing, we find out how leaky the ductwork is, pinpoint leakier ducts for air sealing and solutions for fixing them. We will first set up the blower fan with the manometer on the return duct, then taping the entire system with Clear Masking to seal it. Running a low 25 pascal pressure through the entire system, we can tell what the CFM leakage is immediately. Then we will pinpoint leaky ducts by inserting a pressure probe into each duct while the pressure is high to sense a reduction. The report will give you the results with solutions and photographs to fix the system cost effectively without having to tear apart walls to get to the system. Price is for each HVAC unit tested.
